Bill Whelan and Friends: A Celebration of Irish Music
“In the early days, we were inclined to leave traditional music untouched, it was so precious. But now we’ve moved to a place where the young generation is saying, ‘We love it, we love it—and we want to make our mark on it.'”—BILL WHELAN
An evening with the Grammy-winning composer of Riverdance and a stunning ensemble of musical guests from the contemporary to the traditional.
The concert reflects Bill’s musical path and the people he has encountered throughout his career along side his work with young Irish musicians. The evening will include a variety of music, such as Flying Blind to be performed by Bill on the piano and Timedance, The Coast Of Galicia, Caoineadh Cu Chulainn, Riverdance and more.
