Kingfishr to play two gigs at the TF Royal this December

With a reputation for transformative live performances, a chart-topping debut album, and over 200 million global streams, alt-folk/rock Irish trio Kingfishr have quickly become one of the most talked-about new acts on the global music scene. Their anthemic hooks and heartfelt storytelling have ignited mass singalongs at sold-out venues across Europe, North America, and their native Ireland, captivating audiences wherever they go.

This December, Kingfishr are set to return to the TF Royal Castlebar for not one, but two spectacular shows, bringing their electrifying energy back to fans in the west of Ireland. Known for turning live gigs into unforgettable communal experiences, these shows promise to be a highlight of the winter live music calendar.

Over the past year, the trio have shared stages with music legends including Bruce Springsteen, James Bay, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Tom Walker, and Snow Patrol. Their festival appearances read like a who’s who of the international music circuit — from Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, to Electric Picnic, Isle of Wight and Rock Werchter.

Kingfishr’s meteoric rise has been fuelled by word-of-mouth buzz, driven by fans who have embraced their soaring, emotive songs and distinctive fusion of Irish storytelling with widescreen indie-pop hooks.
