Celebrating their centenary this year, Castlebar Celtic is one of the oldest football clubs in the region, with many proud accolades under their belt, including the 2023 Mayo Super League title.
John – Known for his fierce determination and exceptional skills on the pitch, Hartson’s career spanned across several top clubs, including Celtic, Arsenal, and West Ham. His tenure at Celtic was particularly memorable, where he not only showcased his goal-scoring prowess but also became a fan favourite for his passion and commitment. Off the field, Hartson has been an inspiration, sharing his battles and triumphs over serious health issues, turning his story into one of resilience and perseverance.
