There’s also numerous coach services offering various links to other towns and counties, including Ireland West Airport Knock which is located 38km from Castlebar and services the entire west of Ireland. There’s also a train station that runs a daily services from Dublin to Westport via Irish Rail. There are 4 connections daily, providing passengers the option to reach Galway and Athlone from this line also.
