Boxing fans worldwide were treated to a thrilling event as Dillian Whyte returned to the ring in a highly anticipated bout against Christian Hammer on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17th, at TF Royal Castlebar. Whyte, the former WBC interim champion, had expressed his excitement about the match, stating, “I’m just glad to be back, doing what I love doing.”
The highlight of the undercard, Islandeady’s Ray Moylette, claimed victory in front of his hometown crowd in what may well be his final fight. He was joined in the ring by his wife Sharon, friends, family, and fellow athletes in an outpouring of emotion.

Known as “Cool Hand Luke,” Humphries showcased his exceptional talents in a meet-and-greet session and offered fans the chance to compete against him. This event also served as a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Lourdes Fund, a charitable organisation committed to aiding individuals affected by cystic fibrosis in Ireland.
