Irish Indie Legends The Frank and Walters Return to Castlebar

One of Ireland’s most beloved bands, The Frank and Walters, bring their intimate acoustic show to the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar on Saturday, August 1st.

Led by acclaimed singer-songwriter Paul Linehan, this special performance offers audiences the chance to experience the band’s much-loved catalogue in a unique and stripped-back setting. With hundreds of songs written across more than three decades, fans can look forward to hearing classic hits including After All and Fashion Crisis Hits New York, alongside treasured favourites such as How Can I Exist and Landslide, all performed in their acoustic glory.

More than just a concert, the evening will feature stories behind the songs, reflections on life on the road, and entertaining anecdotes from the colourful journey of one of Ireland’s most enduring and cherished bands.

The Frank and Walters first rose to prominence during the vibrant indie scene of the 1990s and have since released seven studio albums, earning a loyal following both at home and abroad. In recent years, the band has found a whole new audience through the resurgence of their iconic hit After All, which featured in the cult television comedy The Young Offenders.

Paul Linehan remains one of Ireland’s most gifted songwriters, continuing to create new music while captivating audiences with his warmth, wit and unmistakable songwriting talent. In this intimate acoustic format, the quality and timelessness of his songs truly shine.
